The wines of See Ya Later Ranch celebrate the lively legacy of Major Hugh Fraser, a colourful character who purchased the property high above the Okanagan Valley in 1920. Visitors love See Ya Later Ranch for its well-crafted VQA wines served in an unbeatable setting amid the mountains and lakes. See Ya Later Ranch is your second stop on the route and will provide is an alfresco lunch overlooking the spectacular Okanagan Valley.

Black Hills Estate Winery vineyards have some of the most favourable grape growing conditions in the country, resulting in exceptional terroir. Located on the famed Black Sage Road, in the Okanagan Valley appellation, centered in the middle of Canada’s only official desert, the microclimate is one of hottest, driest and sunniest sites in the country. In fact, it has more sunlight hours than Napa Valley in the key growing months of June through August! Black Hills will be your third stop where we’ll enjoy a sweet dessert.

SunRock Vineyard

Perched high on a mountain slope in the southernmost part of the sundrenched Okanagan Valley is
104 acres of land; SunRock Vineyard. The scenic vineyard is made up of approximately 1,360 vines per acre. Each vine was carefully selected to suit the varying coarse to medium loam and sand soils sampled in the area, and is pruned by hand. The fruit of these vines are thinned both at berry-set and post veraison and are typically hand harvested

Nk’Mip Cellars is the first Aboriginal-owned and operated winery in North America. Inspired to express their culture in everything they do, the winery itself is a bold celebration and strong reflection of their commitment to authenticity and deep respect for their colourful past.

Here in the hottest and driest part of Canada, over 500 Osoyoos Band members secure and share a legacy of hard work and a passionate respect for nature. The word Nk’Mip translates to “Bottomland” in English, being located at the southern end of the Osoyoos reservation.Today, the Nk’Mip Cellars are one of many business, health, social, educational and municipal initiatives that have earned the Band financial independence and high employment.

As part a fitting end to the amazing day you will enjoy a buffet-style dinner at Nk’Mip Cellars from 7pm onwards.
