Established in 1993 Canada’s most awarded winery is the start and finish to this inaugural Tour d’Epicure, experiencing the viticulture heritage of the Niagara Peninsula. This impressive building houses one of the most technologically advanced winemaking methods in the country and the meticulously tended vineyards feature three classic varietals: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Riesling. Tour d’Epicure feature: Jackson-Triggs is the Start and Finish for Tour d’Epicure. After you roll into the finish, you’ll enjoy a guided tour, a rare glimpse into the workings of this gravity-flow assisted winery. Then it’s off to a reception where you’ll meet the vintners and enjoy more wine-tasting. And to wrap up the day, you’ll enjoy a culinary feast of award-winning farm-to-table creations by Chef Tim MacKiddie, paired with the finest Jackson-Triggs wines.
You’ve got to love a winery whose motto is Keep Yer Glass Full. This charming boutique winery with a reputation for experimentations with their fermentations has one of the oldest and largest underground barrel cellars in the region and as you wait for your lunch you’ll have a chance to explore it. They’re a friendly, quirky bunch who relish in the atypical, always pushing the envelope and surprising their vintner neighbours, and sometimes themselves, with their results.

The short/40k route riders will have lunch here, all other routes enjoy a wine and food sampling only here.
